Sarnitsa is a small town in the western Rhodopes, closely connected with the Dospat Reservoir and the forested hills around it. The town has a peaceful, unhurried character. Its landscape is made of water, spruce and pine forests, open slopes and long views that change with the weather.<\/p>\n

A town beside the water<\/h2>\n

The reservoir is the defining feature of Sarnitsa. It creates a wide reflective surface among the mountains and gives the area a distinct sense of space. Along its shores, visitors find places for walking, fishing, photography and simply watching the light move across the water.<\/p>\n
