July 6, 1878 \u2014 Bulgaria’s First Telegraph Line<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The first telegraph line on Bulgarian soil entered service, connecting the country to the wider European telecommunications network and modernizing communications in the newly liberated state.<\/p>\n

July 6, 1892 \u2014 The Plovdiv International Fair<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The first Bulgarian Agricultural and Industrial Exhibition opened in Plovdiv, laying the foundations for what would become the Plovdiv International Fair \u2014 one of the oldest and most prominent trade fairs in Southeast Europe, still active today.<\/p>\n
