August 19, 1903 — The Uprising Spreads
In the days following its outbreak, the Preobrazhenie Uprising spread across villages and towns in the Adrianople vilayet as Bulgarian fighters seized local positions and established temporary zones of control. August 19, 1944 — Bulgaria Seeks a Way Out
